Hallo. July has been pretty good to me thus far. I finished up my summer class somehow scrapping an A out of Intermediate German 1. I also somehow convinced Jena to take intermediate 2 with me in the fall (something I am very very happy about). Got Harry Potter at midnight Friday and finished it last night a little after 2 in the morning. I'm still digesting much of it and I feel I need to read it again to pass judgment on how I truly feel about it. I have a few problems with the ending and the set up for book 7 (I won't go into details because I don't want to spoil any of you who are not done with it) as my brother and I heatedly discussed this afternoon.While at Borders that night I also picked up Amphigorey by Edward Gorey. It's a collection of his I guess you could say comics? They are considered of the gothic type nature and I'm quite excited to read it from what I have seen already from flipping and skimming through it looks rather amazing. On Saturday I went to Mike McKeon's (sp?) wedding with this kid I know named Dane. I tried my best to talk and be myself but I have this tendency to be a bit shy so I'm not sure if I gave off the best first impression ever to some of his friends but that's the way the cookie crumbles I suppose. I saw Willy Wonka with my family tonight. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I'm half and half when it comes to Tim Burton movies, some I love some I don't really care for. I went into the theater not expecting a whole lot. I was not real impressed with the ads I had seen and seeing as Roald Dahl has been one of my favorite authors since I was able to read his books I was wary at a making or re-making of any of his books. But to my amazement I liked the movie. The acting was much better than I had thought it would be. Willy is actually portrayed in a slightly different way but it's a way I like. In short I recommend seeing it. It is much much better than the original. I am currently re-reading Roald Dahl's "The Witches" and I must say it is still a little creepy to me. It scared the turnips out of me as a kid and it's still kinda creepy now at the age of 21. I'm also going with scott tomorrow to get a new tattoo if all goes according to plan. Well that's about it. Melinda's wedding is this Saturday so I'm sure I'll be posting about that soon afterwards. I hope you are all well, that you are enjoying your summer and that you are of course remembering to make love to life and fart whenever you wish.

I agree about the book. To tell you the truth it too me a few chapters to actuall get into it. But I think it's because I had a million interruptions. I'm going to sit for another day and then reread it also. The set up made me nervous and I really wanna talk about it but not on here. Dave and I had some ideas about it though.

I'm glad you liked Wonka. I heard a not so good review and got nervous! lol I'm gonna go see it when I have money.

Miss you sugarpuss!

PS - if you haven't yet, go see Fantastic 4. It's no Batman, of course, but it's still good. And the actors are dead on with the characters.

I also have many many ideas about what she did and what she has planned for the new one. I have had brief discussions with Brad and Dane and I would also like to have a discussion sometime with you. Don't be nervous for Willy I think you'll enjoy it. And I did see fantastic 4 and I agree with your comments on it. It was no batman but I was entertained and enjoyed myself for the most part. Alalalala I miss you too my dear.

It was going to be a little jack o'lantern but alas I'll have to wait a few more weeks to get it due to the vacation to Myrtle Beach which involves chlorine. I hope you are doing well my dear. This week has been crazy what with the wedding and all. Hopefully I'll get some free time in the near future. p.s. good luck with the new interest you deserve it.
